What is Intuitive Eating?
Intuitive Eating is a self-care eating framework which integrates instinct, emotion, and rational thought and was created by two dietitians, Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch in 1995. Intuitive Eating is a weight-inclusive, evidence-based model with a validated assessment scale and over 100 studies to date.
Through inquiry, listening, and practice, you will learn to settle into a way of eating that feels nourishing, sustainable, and fun for you.

Enjoy their favorite foods without guilt or fear of overeating
Feel more comfortable in their bodies
Let go of long-standing food rules
Stop counting calories
Stop binge eating
Eat regular meals and snacks through the day
Stop feeling pushed around by the lastest “Wellness” craze
Say “I am sick and tired of trying to change my body. I am done giving my money, time and attention to the diet industry. ”

Instead of punishing the body with restrictive diets and food rules, you will learn to eat in a way that honors your physical and mental health The pursuit of intentional weight loss is a failed paradigm, which creates health problems: including weight stigma, weight cycling, and eating disorders. All bodies deserve dignity and respect. Intuitive Eating is aligned with Health at Every Size.
